 FAQs

  • We always recommend that hair be at least the length of a grain of rice (about 1/4 inch).

    If you are someone who shaves, uses Nair, or any other hair removal treatment, wait at least 2-3 weeks after shaving or using Nair before waxing. We recommend 4-6 weeks of hair growth between each waxing session.

  • A 50% deposit is required for select waxing services at booking whether in person or online.

  • If you are comfortable with doing so we ask all clients who have started their cycle to wear a fresh tampon before getting serviced. (Organic cotton tampons are available in the restroom).

  • Do not trim or shave. Do not use Nair or any other hair removal products before your appointment. Avoid any form of exfoliation 48 hours before your appointment. (This includes PFB Vanish)

    To prevent transferring old bacteria, you may bring a clean pair of undergarments to wear after the waxing service.

  • For first time clients we always give you a card with aftercare instructions to follow after your waxing session.

    Recommendations:
    – Recommend scheduling a waxing session every 4-6 weeks
    – Ingrown Hairs & Dark Marks: PFB Vanish Ultra (starting 48 hours after waxing) to help prevent ingrown hairs and lighten dark marks (3-4x weekly, instructions on bottle) and/or us a Dry body brush (use before applying PFB Vanish Ultra) (purchase in spa or online)
    – Hydrate: Signature Kitty Oil, helps to moisturize and balance ph (purchase in spa or online)

    WAIT 24 HOURS BEFORE:
    – Engaging in any and all sexual activities
    – Taking HOT showers/bath; using heavy fragrance soaps
    – Swimming, tanning, hot tubs, sauna, gym, exercising

    *If you experience bumps, itchiness, irritation, or redness after waxing, apply healing ointment and keep ara clean and dry.
